True Believer (Jeremy Marsh & Lexie Darnell #1)
This was my first Sparks' book and I really liked it. I'm so glad I finally read one of his books. I must admit that the firs half of the book was really slow, I was wondering the whole time why was I reading it. That's the reason why I'm giving just 3 stars, and I almost gave 4, because then things got really good between the two characters and the ending was great. An important fact is that this book does have a HEA! I must clarify this because Spark is known for his tragic endings, but this is
Solid 3.5 starsIn the end it did what I want in Nicholas Sparks books and that's to make me smile.I started this book twice before and I could only ever continue beyond the first couple chapters (this was my third time and my last try to get into it). The first 100 pages were really hard for me to get into because it deals with a lot of science elements that I'm personally not a fan of. When Jeremy meets Lexie it starts to pick up and (like most Nicholas Sparks books) it became really addicting.

Tears in the eyes, smile and laughter all along, butterflies in the stomach... Nicholas Sparks definitely knows how to make his readers feel as his main characters do. And I should definetely give a credit to his sense of humour which made me smile so many times. Not one of his best books (in my opinion) but still a very addictive and cute love story. I did like Lexie a lot, since I think this is how a woman should be, full of charm and mistery. Well, and Jeremy is definitely the guy that every

Before last week, I was a 22 year old girl who had never read a Nicholas Sparks novel or, for that matter, seen one of the movie adaptations of his books. I know! People criticized me for it, and I almost felt like my woman card was going to be revoked or something. To remedy the situation, I bought a huge stack of his work last summer (they were cheap garage-sale finds!), and almost a full year later, I actually sat down to read one. I enjoy predictable love stories that have happy endings. I found "True Believer" to be one of those stories, and for that reason, I really liked the novel. At first, I thought this novel was difficult to begin reading. The first couple chapters take place in New York and focus on Jeremy Marsh's business success. However, when Jeremy travels down south to a small town in North Carolina, known as Boone Creek, the story starts to pick up pace. I really like the stereotype of a small town filled

Chronicle Concering Books True Believer (Jeremy Marsh & Lexie Darnell #1)
Jeremy Marsh is the ultimate New Yorker: handsome, almost always dressed in black, and part of the media elite. An expert on debunking the supernatural with a regular column in Scientific American, he's just made his first appearance on national TV. When he receives a letter from the tiny town of Boone Creek, North Carolina, about ghostly lights that appear in a legend-shrouded cemetery, he can't resist driving down to investigate. Here, in this tightly knit community, Lexie Darnell runs the town's library, just as her mother did before the accident that left Lexie an orphan. Disappointed by past relationships, including one that lured her away from home, she is sure of one thing: her future is in Boone Creek, close to her grandmother and all the other people she loves. Jeremy expects to spend a quick week in "the sticks" before speeding back to the city. But from the moment he sets eyes on Lexie, he is intrigued and attracted to this beautiful woman who speaks with a soft drawl and confounding honesty. And Lexie, while hesitating to trust this outsider, finds herself thinking of Jeremy more than she cares to admit. Now, if they are to be together, Jeremy Marsh must make a difficult choice: return to the life he knows, or do something he's never done before--take a giant leap of faith. A story about taking chances and following your heart, True Believer will make you, too, believe in the miracle of love.Describe Books To True Believer (Jeremy Marsh & Lexie Darnell #1)

I had purchased the second book in this series without realizing there was a first book. So I listened to this one on audible. The narrator was awful and the music in the background was annoying. I never give up on a book so I persevered. It was just an ok story . Not much to keep my interest really . Too predictable! Lets hope the second one improves. This was my first Sparks' book and I really liked it. I'm so glad I finally read one of his books.
