Such a lovely book! I fell in love with it the first day I started reading it. I think it demonstrates the true meaning of the Chinese legend of a red thread connecting two people no matter what.It starts out at a Chinese orphanage and tells of the main character, Wen, and her life growing up with her "sister". I really liked this book. I guess I had never really thought about how truly terrifying it must be to be an adopted older child and have to start over in a country where nothing is familiar. Wen was a great character and I wanted to hug her and tell her everything was going to be okay.
