Decent. But the story took me 6 months to get through. I kept getting bored and finding others stories I liked better. The good parts were good though. I have liked other Martinez books way better.

Monster works in crypto-zoological containment. Capturing magical and mythical animals. Its a thankless job, but it pays the bills and Monster gets by with only minor irritations in his life. At least, until he meets Judy and the yeti she discovered in the freezer aisle of the grocery store where she works. Judy seems to be particularly unlucky where crypto-zoological creatures are concerned; besides the yeti at her job, there are the trolls in her apartment and the goat-creatures in the van.

I am pleased. I bought this book in a second hand book store, under urban fantasy (which is often filled with covers that have Fabio type characters on the front-gag*) this one stood out. However I put it on my "to read" pile for a few months....
